Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 9 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - DCH Health System.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
Unit Details: - Trauma Surgical Unit primarily cares for acute care trauma and surgical patients. - Also cares for orthopedic and urology patients. - Interdisciplinary team approach with collaboration with family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists. - Provides care for patients hospitalized for illness, surgery, testing, and observation.
Shift & Scheduling: - Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. - Holidays as required. - Every other weekend.

2 references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
