Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Tracheostomy and surgical experience required. - Must have at least a 3 or 4 in skill ranking for two out of the following four specialties: gynecology, urology, plastics, and colorectal; preferably gynecology and plastics.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Flap management preferred.

Required Credentials: - Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Unit Details: - Adult patient population. - Cares for gynecology oncology; urology patients with urinary diversion surgeries including neobladder, ileal conduit with urostomy, and Indiana pouch; plastics patients with gender-affirming surgeries and free flap reconstruction; and ENT patients with new tracheostomies and airway management. - Frequent flap monitoring. - Provides patient and family education following urinary diversion surgeries.

Shift & Scheduling: - Day/Night, Sunday - Saturday, 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930 or 1900-0730, weekend rotation. - Some holidays based on operational need. - Call requirements: None. - Every other weekend. - Every third weekend.

Floating Requirements: - May float to other med/surg units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required
