Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC).

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting (within 48 hours of offer). 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.
Required skills and experience: 2+ years of acute care experience, Acute Medical Surgical; Strong Telemetry Skills- must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
Required credentials: Must be able to pass tele test on Day 1 with 85% or better.
Shift & schedule requirements: D/N Rotation, E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - 1 required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
