Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Previous Employment Requirements: Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Patient Diagnoses:
• Breast Cancer
• Lung Cancer
• Prostate Cancer
• Pancreatic Cancer
• Colon Cancer
• Esophageal Cancer
• Encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy
Special Procedures:
• All solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care.
• Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
• Cares for patients that have true med surg issues
Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics
Equipment Used on Unit:
• B450 monitors GE telemetry system
• Bladder Scanner
• Alaris pumps
• Stryker beds
Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 36
Special Requests: Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
Block Schedules: No
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends - variable based on unit needs
Floating Requirements: Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: Please request an interview for one match from this facility at a time.
