Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Self-study of telemetry strips required upon acceptance. Basic dysrhythmia test required during the first week of assignment and must be passed to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.

Unit Details: Cares for adult and geriatric medical/surgical and telemetry patients. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Med/Surg ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Estimated work week 36 hours with the possibility of overtime. Every other weekend rotation. While not part of a regular call rotation, may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and must be able to arrive on-site within 1 hour if called in.

Floating Requirements: Floating is required to non-critical care inpatient units, including the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. Travelers with critical care experience may occasionally float to CCU. May be required to float to Fort Madison or Henry County campus.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
