Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Reading basic telemetry strips - Some experience with CVA and TIA - Total joint replacement experience
Special Requests: - Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam required during onboarding; clinician must take and pass within two attempts prior to signing contract. Failure to score 80% in two attempts results in DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months. - Cannot have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: - Common diagnoses/types of patients include CHF, COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetes, telemetry, post-Cath, and total joint replacement. - RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once a shift. - The unit takes diltiazem/Cardizem drips at a set rate. - Equipment includes BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments.
Shift & Scheduling: - Schedules are made out for 4 weeks. Self-scheduling is used but is not final until the manager balances the schedule. - 2 weekends per 4-week schedule. - For Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving, expected holiday coverage is 2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - First to float. - May float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified. - ER float positions require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established; however, this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance so clinicians are aware of which location they will report to.
