Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• 24 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Colorado (UCH)

Required Skills/Experience:

• Medical/Surgical/ Elective Bariatrics Unit Experience

• IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Genitourinary/Renal, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Work Settings, MS/Tele, Neurological/Psychiatric, Substance Withdrawal, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience

• Teaching Hospital Experience

Unit/Facility Details:

• Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

• Both References must be from Charge RN, Manager, Supervisor, or above.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Days of the Week: Various Days of Week

• Weekend Requirement: Per Unit Needs; Every Other

• No on-call requirement.

• RTO is not allowed during the following time period:

  • October 22 – November 3, 2025
  • November 24 – December 1, 2025
  • December 21 – January 3, 2026

Floating Requirements: As required and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
