Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required within the last 18 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Required Skills/Experience
• Proficiency caring for all Patient Types – variety of med surg patients
• Experience with Heparin
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Charge and Preceptor experience
• Skills in telemetry/cardiac background
Special Requests: Must be open, and willing to extend past the initial 13 week assignment
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Requirements: Every other / every 3rd depending on staffing/census
• On Call Requirements: None
• Holiday Rotation
Floating Requirements: Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist
7 days maximum time off
2 references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
