Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 6 months of Epic experience is required.
• ASN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Basic Med/Tele skillset: cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes.
Required Credentials: - Education: ASN/BSN
Unit Details: - Observation unit with cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and other diagnoses in a fast-paced setting. - RN ratio 1:5-6 on days and nights; in surge staffing could see ratios up to 1:7-8. - CNA support ratio 1:12; no HUC. - Charge nurse may have a patient assignment and serves as a resource for staff. - Phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, RT 24/7, and Intensivist 24/7 support. - Hospitalist on site dayshift; virtual in evenings/overnight. - Telemetry monitoring is remote with Tele tech. - Uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell med dispensing, and Massimo monitors in all rooms. - Free parking
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend rotation. - Possibility of low census call. Can be called back up to 3a for Nights and up to 3p for Days. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks.
Special Requests: - Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays; must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.
Floating Requirements: - Float within Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, and Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH) - as needed, within scope of practice. - If floating mid-shift, will remain on the clock while traveling between facilities.

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
