Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 24 months of travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program and no current placement allowed at Program: Mass General Brigham Incorporated (Direct) - Main Program.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in one location and 2 years working as a traveler. Knowledge of cardiac drips and ability to interpret tele strips.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Nursing care for patients post-cardiac catheterization and pacemaker is needed but not required.
Required Credentials: Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted.
Unit Details: Patients may be admitted from the ED, transferred from other units, or directly admitted by a physician. Cares for patients on Cardizem drips, nitroglycerin drips, Lasix drips, and heparin drips, including NSTEMI, post-pacemaker, and post-cardiac cath lab patients with and without interventions. Primary diagnoses include CHF, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary embolism, and pneumonia. Also cares for patients with EtOH and dementia with cardiac co-morbidities, as well as occasional surgical patients. Clinician to patient ratio: Day and evening shifts 1:4 with max of 5. The night shift is 1:5-6. Weekday day shift includes a charge RN without a patient assignment.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Night positions do not rotate.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NTC (National Telemetry Certification)
