Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Block schedules required.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. Government-Issued Photo ID. BLS ACLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.

Types of Patients on Unit: Our Acute Care bed model supports general medical/surgical as well as progressive/telemetry level patients.

Unit/Facility Details: 7 Adult Inpatient Acute Care units are supported by these positions.

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved

Floating Requirements: Float between 2-3 units

Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
