Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Acute care experience is required.• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months between Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Patient Ratio Experience: 1:4
  • Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Ortho trauma, Telemetry, Surgical drains, and Traumatic Brain injury.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Previous Charge experience.
  • Teaching Hospital experience.
  • Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Phlebotomy, Tracheostomy care/management, Wound Care/Wound Vac, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Skin grafts, and Spinal cord injury.

Required Credentials:

  • IV Certification
  • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: RTO required with submission.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Details:
