Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Paragon is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: - 18+ months of recent Med/Tele experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Rural hospital experience preferred.
Required Credentials: - Must pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - No previous employment allowed at this facility.
Unit Details: - Rural hospital that is very reliant on travelers in the Med/Tele units, with limited staff continuity. - Common diagnoses/patient types include CHF, diabetes, PNA, CKD, and Med/Surg Tele. - Telemetry monitor techs monitor patients, but RNs must be able to read strips. - PCTs are present 12/1. - CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patients. - Transitioning to Epic Oct 30th 2026.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - Holidays are required. - No call. - Scheduling is by manager based on facility needs. - Flexible contract hours: 36 hours per week or 36/48 hours rotating per two weeks.
Floating Requirements: - Will float to all Med/Surg units, possibly to PCU to care for Tele holds prior to transfer.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
