Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience preferred but not required. Previous travel experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital and Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend shifts are variable based on unit needs. Pre-approved time off per contract: one.
Floating Requirements: Required to float to other MedSurg Oncology units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs
Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry Oncology, Administration of chemotherapy, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Tracheostomy care/management
Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
