Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and intermediate skills.
Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. - Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any Ohio State University facilities.
Unit Details: - Provide care in East Tower, including General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics departments. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Common patient populations, cases, and procedures include pulmonary edema, trach management, skin grafts, GI bleeds, GI surgery, hernia repair, continuous bladder irrigation, accessing ports, PCA pumps, amputations, post-vascular surgery care, bowel obstructions, renal failure, wound care/wound vacs, Trauma Level 3, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Colorectal Surgery. - Additional unit procedure/skill context includes flaps and leech therapy.
Shift & Scheduling: - No on-call duty required. - Every other weekend.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
