Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: - First time travelers: Accepted with experience in patient ratio requirement. - Patient ratio experience required: 1:6. - Charge experience required. - Telemetry on-unit monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams, pacemakers (temporary/permanent), feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, heparin protocols, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac.
Special Requests: - Must be more than 75 miles from facility.
Unit Details: - High-volume overflow unit. Need to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg. - Complex care unit for medicine, ortho overflow, and complex long-term patients.
Shift & Scheduling: - 4x12 day/night rotation 0700-1900/1900-0700. - Every other weekend.
Maximum consecutive days off: 10
