Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - SSM Health.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required skills/experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Genitourinary/Renal, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Nasal Cannula, Tracheostomy care/management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Feeding tube care and management, PCA, Surgical drains, Isolation Precautions/PPE.
Preferred skills/experience: PCU experience is preferred. Teaching Hospital Experience. Neuro Stepdown, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Blood Product Administration, PICC line management, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Oxygen administration, Non-invasive airway management.
Shift & schedule requirements: Every other weekend required
Floating requirements: Floating to MS, MS/Tele
Special request requirements: NM will consider without PCU experience and strong MS/Tele background
Unit and facility details: 6S is a blended Med/Tele and PCU unit. Ratio 1:3 for PCU. This is a mixed acuity unit, but the travelers themselves are only required to have Med/Tele experience and are not assigned PCU pts.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
