Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, and a basic dysrhythmia test-out will be given during the first week of the assignment

Unit / Facility Details: Patient Ratio: Telemetry - 1/5, Med Surg - 1/6

Proof of Identification: Driver’s License/State ID

Special Requests: This position has a hard start date of 5/18/2026 and end date of 7/12/2026. Prior to the end of the assignment, unit needs will be assessed, and an extension could be offered.

Shift & Scheduling: While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.

ACU required every other weekend rotation

Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, we have occasionally floated them to CCU.

7 days maximum time off

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
