Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: - Vital signs, pain assessment, intake/output monitoring, isolation precautions, physical restraints, specimen labeling, oxygen administration via nasal cannula, feeding tube management, telemetry monitoring, 12-lead EKG. - Medication administration (oral, IM, SQ, NG/G-tube, ear and eye drops), IV therapy with pumps, blood glucose monitoring. - Wound care basics (simple dressings, JP/Hemovac drains), bathing and mouth care, Foley catheter insertion (male/female), clean catch urine collection, communication of status changes to RN/MD, MS/Tele care setting.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Medical patients – COPD exacerbation, infections, failure to thrive, social issues.
Special Requests: - RTO and block scheduling requests must be submitted upon submission. - Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.
Floating Requirements: - MedSurg
Maximum consecutive days off: 10
