Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Acute care experience is required within the last 2 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN - Blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, start/maintaining IVs - High flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, trach care/management - Feeding tube care/management, heparin protocols, pacemakers/temp/perm, telemetry-on-the-unit monitoring - Use of rapid response/code teams, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, MS/Tele, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains

Unit/Facility Details: - Complex care unit for medicine, ortho overflow, and complex long-term patients

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend - Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed

Floating Requirements: - Will be required to float within skillset

Special Requests: - All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Maximum consecutive days off: 10
