Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
• 2 years of Inpatient Rehab or MedSurg experience; need to at least have knowledge of inpatient rehab.
• Experience with above patient types, wound care, dressing changes, wound vacs, drains, peripheral IV starts/maintenance, ostomy care, IV antibiotics, PEG tube maintenance, tube feeds, established trach care/maintenance (RT here 24/7 if needed), handling braces/splints, familiar with bowel/bladder programs. No drips.
Required Credentials: Practical Nursing Degree

Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Rotation: 6 weekend shifts on a 6 week schedule- (6 out of 12 shifts )
• On Call, Call Back and Holiday Requirements: None
Floating Requirements: Rehab unit 1 and 2
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
