Experience:
• 12 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Required Skills/Experience: - Min 1 year recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting, 250+ beds. - Experience with a large hospital, busy environment. - Must have travel experience; will not consider candidates currently on first travel assignment.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. - Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted. - Previous Sanford Health employment requires an end date at least 6 months before submission.
Unit Details: - Inpatient adult medical/surgical patients, including some patients experiencing behavioral disturbances. - Uses telemetry, Philips monitors, bladder scanner, AcuVein, and Omnicell. - Patient ratio: 5:1 on days, 6:1 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: - Day/night rotation; the schedule may be 3 weeks on days then 3 weeks on nights, and some schedule cycles may be all days or all nights based on unit needs. - Every other weekend and holiday.
Floating Requirements: - Willing to float to all med/surg units on all 3 campuses in Fargo as needed.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
