Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1880 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Start IVs. Basic wound care. Maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: The assignment is on the 6th-floor post-op medical-surgical unit. Uses IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse oximetry machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, a bladder scanner, and iMobile communication technology.

Shift & Scheduling: 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule.

Floating Requirements: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple contract labor staff scheduled.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
