Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1880 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
IV start skills are required.
NGT placement skills are required.
Wound care skills are required.
Cardiac rhythm skills are required.

Special Requests:
Any special scheduling requests must be made with the manager upon arrival at the facility.

Unit Details:
Equipment includes wound vacs, heparin drips, suction, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanners, feeding pumps, and telemetry.
Editech is used as the documentation system.
Patient experience expectations include meeting patients' and families' needs, providing service recovery as necessary, and escalating any problem through the chain of command.
Procedures performed on the unit include lab draws and IV starts.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule includes every-other-weekend and holiday rotations.
Self-scheduling is available.

Floating Requirements:
Will float between 2 North and 2 West.
