Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years preferred; will consider 1+ years with Level I, Teaching facility experience.
Required Credentials: No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Special Requests: Clinicians who obtained an RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact licensure require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Ratios: 4:1 for days, 5:1 for all other shifts. Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes infection, renal, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, orthopedic, bariatric, pre-transplant, observation, psychology, long-stay, and COVID patients. Patients may stay on the unit for only a few hours to a day or be considered long stay if no beds are available, especially during high census periods. Nurses may work with many patients in one shift due to very high patient turnover. The unit receives a wide variety of patient conditions from the ED. Nurses receive additional required training to care for a variety of patients and should be prepared to learn new and challenging skills.
Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. Every third weekend required. No call required. No more than 7 days of RTO.
Floating Requirements: Will float within service line.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
