Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1910 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Per updated BSA on 6.26.25, the facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract. These hours are not limited to 12-hour shifts and will be marked on the facility time report.

Your agency’s contract to your traveler must mirror the confirmation page. If your agency does not comply with this standard, your agency will be at risk of being removed from the Genesis Healthcare vendor set. No exceptions! Start date must be identical. End date must be identical.

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience. - Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips. - No Epic EMR training is provided.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Renal experience strongly preferred.

Special Requests: - Unless the RN is a returning Genesis traveler within 9 months, the only available start dates are September 21 or October 19. - RTO must be identical to the confirmation page. - All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission and added into the confirmation page for it to be honored. If your agency or the traveler does not include all RTO in the submission form and adds it post-confirmation, your agency will be at risk of being removed from the Genesis Healthcare vendor set. No exceptions!

Unit Details: - Adult renal and medical-surgical patients include acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions. - The unit is high acuity, with continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and high patient turnover. - Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation are part of the assignment. - Care involves collaboration with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend is required. - No on-call requirement. - Holiday coverage is required.

Floating Requirements: - Floats as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
