Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wyoming license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Cheyenne Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior telemetry reading experience preferred.
Special Requests: Self-scheduling is available. Block scheduling is available, but flexibility is requested.
Unit Details: Ortho/Neuro/Surg unit. Nurses titrate heparin and ketamine drips (set rate), administer antibiotics and blood products, and manage frequent IV treatments. Monitor techs are available to read strips. Uses Epic. Respiratory equipment includes BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannulas. Nurses are provided phones and trackers. Must be willing to care for COVID patients.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period. Required to work some holidays. Some on-call shifts may occur due to low census, but staff are typically called back in.
Floating Requirements: RNs may float to Medical, Medical Oncology, and Telemetry units, which run cardiac drips.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
