Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2000 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Unit Details: The unit includes stroke beds. Patient ratios: Day-shift ratios are 1:5; most days are 1:4, but at times they can be 1:5. Night and weekend ratios are 1:4 or 5. Uses Omnicell. IV team support is available on day shift. No lift team is available. 24/7 pharmacy support is available. 24/7 phlebotomy support is available. Transportation support is available from 7am-10:30pm. Unit secretary support is available through Department Patient Registration. 24/7 intensivist and hospitalist coverage is available.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, or six weekend shifts per six week scheduling period, depending on the need of the unit.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles. Depending on staffing of other units and current census, staff may be asked to float.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
