Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2070 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 24 months (2 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - General, gyn, breast, abdominal, flaps, and ENT patient care experience required. - Heparin experience required. - Recent/current Level II trauma experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Recent/current Level I trauma experience preferred.

Special Requests: - Past UnityPoint Health FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel in another market if they currently work at, or have worked at, any UnityPoint Health facility within the past 12 months. This does not apply to prior UnityPoint Health travel assignments.

Unit Details: - Ratios: 1:4-6 on days; 1:5-6 on nights. - Patient types include general, gyn, breast, abdominal, flaps, and ENT.

Shift & Scheduling: - Fri, Sat, Sun schedule. - No call. - Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

Floating Requirements: - Float required across campuses and like units when needed/scheduled, including Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
