Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2150 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 15 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 24 months of Med Surg experience in a hospital/medical center setting. Proficient transplant care experience is required. Strong renal experience is required. Strong urology experience is required. At least 1 travel contract must have been completed within the previous 15 months.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Past or current Level I trauma experience is highly preferred.

Special Requests: Any former UPH employee, whether an FTE or PRN employee in the UPH float pool, cannot work a travel assignment in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. The separation policy does not apply if the clinician previously worked travel at UPH rather than as an FTE or PRN employee.

Unit Details: The patient population includes general med-surg patients, including renal, transplant, and urology.

Shift & Scheduling: Unless the unit is closed, the clinician is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays and must be able to work Thanksgiving. Every 3rd weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: The traveler is required to float across all campuses to like units, including MWH, ILH, IMMC, Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
