Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2150 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 15 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum of 24 months of Med-Surg experience in a hospital/medical center setting is required. - 24 months of current Med-Surg/medical-surgical experience is required. - Proficient transplant care experience is required. - Strong experience in renal. - Strong experience in urology is required. - At least one travel contract must have been completed within the previous 15 months.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Past or current Level I trauma experience is highly preferred.

Special Requests: - Any past UPH employee who was an FTE or PRN member of the UPH float pool cannot take a travel assignment in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months; this restriction does not apply if they previously worked travel at UPH rather than as an FTE or PRN employee.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes general med-surg, including renal, transplant, and urology patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Unless the unit is closed, the contractor is required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays and must be able to work Thanksgiving. - Every 3rd weekend. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float across all campuses to like units, including MWH, ILH, and IMMC.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
