Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - IV therapy/phlebotomy skills/experience: blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management - Isolation precautions
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous charge experience preferred - Teaching hospital experience preferred
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients including GI bleed, bowel obstruction, colon cancer, bowel resection, diverticulitis, cholecystitis, alcohol withdrawal, appendicitis, and pancreatitis - Unit skills/procedures include TPN administration, NG insertion, tube feedings, heparin drip, amiodarone (not titrated), and lasix (not titrated) - Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend - No call - Client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours. If placed on call in lieu of being called off, that counts as a called-off shift.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2
