Shift: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: - Patient population includes ortho total hip and knee replacements, spinal surgeries, and general Med/Surg patients with CHF, COPD, and respiratory, kidney, liver, and GI issues. - Required skills include PIV starts, wound care, dressing changes, wound vacs, drains, chest tubes, stable trach management, and knowledge of patients on BiPAP/CPAP. - Drips include insulin and heparin. - Patient ratios: Days/Eves 1:4-5; Nights 1:5. - Department support includes CNA coverage at a 1:5-10 ratio depending on shift, HUC on days and part time on evenings, phlebotomy for peripheral lab draws, RT and hospitalist 24/7, OT/PT/ST during weekdays, and no IV/VAT team; notify House Supervisor for hard sticks. - Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing.
Special Requests: - Depending on time of year, could work up to 3 holidays in contract. Holidays include Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Memorial Day. - Can approve up to 7 days of RTO.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every third weekend. - No call. - Shift times: 0700-1900, 1500-0300, 1900-0700, 0300-1500.
Floating Requirements: - Could float within scope of practice at the hospital, mostly to MS1, Cardiac MS2, and ED Holding.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
