Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2200 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO is needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Shift & Scheduling: Cyclic self-scheduling is available, with night shift times of 1830-0700. Weekend requirement: At minimum every 3rd weekend. Holiday requirement: At minimum 2 holidays. No call.

Unit Details: Patient ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Common diagnoses and patient types include adults and geriatrics, stroke, SCI, amputee, BI, critical illness, and neurological diseases including MS and Parkinson’s. RNs are not required to titrate drips. Common titratable and/or set-rate drips include antibiotics, anticoagulation, and antiplatelets.

Floating Requirements: Will float to MedSurg.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
