Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2210 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 6 months of Epic experience is required with 6 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have have graduated from an accredited nursing school. Will draw own labs- must have 2+ years or recent experience in drawing blood. Must have 2+ years of recent MS experience. Must have phlebotomy experience as well as being able to draw/maintain IVs.

Required Credentials: Must have an accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE to be considered.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at the time of submission. RTO is not accepted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Interviews are required.

Unit Details: Patient population includes geriatric patients age 65 and older who require close observation and testing. Overflow medical and surgical patients are also placed on the unit. Age-friendly care follows the 4Ms: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. Patients present with GIB, UTI, trauma, infection, pneumonia, CHF, change in mental status, and failure to thrive.

Shift & Scheduling: Only 7 days maximum of RTO are accepted.

7 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
