Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2210 per week.

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.
• ADN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center.
Required Skills/Experience: Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases. Stepdown/PCU experience is required. Must have acute care surgical floor experience. Candidates need experience caring for patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT.
Preferred Skills/Experience: ENT and/or transplant experience preferred.
Required Credentials: If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials. Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.

Unit Details: The floor cares for inpatients receiving pre- or post-surgical services, including some step-down care. Patient ratios are 5 or 5:1 for surgical patients and 3:1 for the SD area.
Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
