Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2240 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Night shift requires 2 years of solid MedSurg experience. Must read EKG strips and be comfortable working with telemetry patients.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. The Medical Solutions clinical team interview is followed by a second interview with the unit. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: The unit does not care for ventilated patients. Hospitalist and intensivist coverage is in house. An IV and PICC team is available during the day; respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: every other weekend. Work in the permanent staff holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: Travelers have a home-base unit; floating is required between both Med-Surg units. Travelers are first to float every other weekend.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
