Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2250 per week.

Shift: 6:15 AM - 6:45 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 5 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience required.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited RN program required.

Unit Details: Provides observation and/or inpatient care to patients assigned to the Med Surg Unit. Administers medications, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, blood products, and other treatments. Operates infusion pumps. Uses Care Compass to organize and document assessments, care tasks, procedures, and patient education. Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation are part of the role. Patient and family education includes disease process, treatment plans, medications, pain management, wound care, discharge planning, and follow-up care. Serves as a mentor to other nursing staff and supports continuous learning.

Shift & Scheduling: Holiday coverage is required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
