Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2270 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Patient ratios are 1:5 ideally and can go up to 1:7. Common diagnoses include NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, sepsis, and AKI. RNs do not titrate drips. Respiratory therapy equipment is limited to home units at this time. Heated high flow is the highest level available in the hospital. Telemetry is available; monitor technicians are scheduled to read the strips, and RNs sign off on strips throughout the shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Night shift hours are 7P-7A. Every other weekend, typically. Every other holiday, typically. No on-call requirement.

Floating Requirements: Floating to ICU, ER, or BHC applies if the candidate has the level of experience; otherwise, no floating is required out of Med-Surg.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
