Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2290 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Soarian is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

If declining flu vaccination- must complete on facility specific form.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have SCU and ED experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ideal candidate will have charge and supervisor experience.

Unit Details: The unit is med-surg with a rare pediatric patient population. The RN ratio is 7:1 and may go to 8, but this is rare. Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issue, THR, TKR, lumbar surgery, general surgery, and COVID.

Shift & Scheduling: No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
