Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2290 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have experience with NG placement, Foley placement, blood administration, heparin drips, and insulin drips.

Special Requests:

• Requested time off must be provided at submission.

Unit Details:

• Common cases include hysterectomy and mastectomy patients, postpartum patients (mothers only), and general medical/surgical patients.
• RNs titrate heparin and insulin drips.
• Equipment includes CPAP.
• Some patients may have heart monitors; RNs do not read the strips.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Travelers will fill the shifts with the greatest need.
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule period.
• Holiday work follows the core staff rotation.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• May float to other general medical units.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission
