Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty.
Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry.

Special Requests:
Holiday RTO will be considered; however, it cannot be guaranteed.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details:
Telemetry is not a dedicated unit; portable telemetry boxes may be used if needed, and monitor technicians are available.
Patients are not on ventilators.
In-house hospitalist coverage is available 24/7.
No IV team is available.
Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7.
Patient population includes medical and postoperative/surgical patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
Holidays are worked into the permanent staff rotation.

Floating Requirements:
First to float.
May float to Telemetry at a 1:4 ratio and may also float between Med-Surg floors.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
