Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Skills Checklist: Cannot contain any N/As; all lines must have a numerical rating.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 year recent MS experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience highly preferred, but not required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If previously employed by Sanford Health, must have an end date at least 6 months before submission.

Unit Details: Cardiac Med/Surg unit. Assessments, documentation, completing nursing tasks, and med administration. Uses Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps. Nurse-to-patient ratios: 4-5:1 on day shift, 5-6:1 on night shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends only: Fri, Sat, Sun. Every other holiday. Self-scheduling available; only the days off listed on the contract are guaranteed. During schedule balancing, self-scheduled shifts may be moved to balance the unit. If a specific day off cannot be supported because it would unbalance the unit, staff are asked to find someone to trade with.

Floating Requirements: Primary unit is 6CD; expected to float to any Med/Surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
