Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Resume must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level if applicable, patient ratio, and whether the facility is a teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health, it must be noted in the submission; if previously worked with Sanford, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to the submission date. Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well.

Unit Details: Adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs, including trauma/orthopedic trauma and hip fracture cases. Uses AcuDose and other identified inpatient equipment needs. Patient ratios: Days 1:4-5; Nights 1:5-6.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Rotating day/night schedule varies by unit needs and may include multiple consecutive weeks on days or nights. Self-scheduling is available; only the days off listed on the contract are guaranteed, and self-scheduled shifts may be adjusted to balance the unit.

Floating Requirements: Float to Medical Surgical Units at Broadway, SMCF, and South University if needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
