Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• 24 months of Trauma Level 2 facility is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience in a larger hospital (200 beds minimum), level 2 or higher trauma center. - Travel experience required unless the clinician has multiple years of experience in a large level 1 setting.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with surgical oncology patients preferred, but not required.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health, Good Samaritan Society, or Marshfield Clinic Health System location before submission. - Must disclose previous employment for a DNU check.
Unit Details: - Cares for med-surg and surgical oncology patients. - Uses AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry. - Patient ratios: 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holiday. - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Floating Requirements: - Home unit is 5SE and may float to any med/surg unit on any campus.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
