Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2500 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; must be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam must be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Serves a general surgical adult population and has telemetry capability. Virtual sitter monitoring is available.

Shift & Scheduling: Travelers will be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period and holidays if the department has a need.
