Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2540 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Centra Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Prior travel experience is required. Must do charge, as the traveler is required to be a charge RN in this unit.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience preferred. Charge experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.

Unit Details: Med-Surg Diabetic Renal Unit (DRMU). Teaching hospital; travelers will work with students and new hires.

Shift & Scheduling: Assignments end on Saturday. 2/3 weekends per month based on unit need. Must be flexible to work the schedule needs of the unit. Traveler must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year’s Day).

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
