Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2620 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Tracheostomy care/management. Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 1-2 years of experience preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes infection, renal, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, ortho, bariatric, pre-transplant, observation, psychology, long-stay, and COVID patients. Patients may stay on the unit for only a few hours to a day or be considered long stay, especially during high census periods. High patient turnover means nurses may work with many patients in one shift. The unit receives a wide variety of patient conditions from the ED, and nurses receive additional training to care for a variety of patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend required. No call. RTO limit: no more than 7 days per 13-week contract.
Floating Requirements: Will float within service line.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
