Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2770 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; passing score of at least 80%, with only two attempts permitted; exam must be updated every 3 years.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score for the area of specialization, with only two attempts allowed; must be completed within one year of start and updated every 3 years.
Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; Pharmacology 1 or 2 must be completed prior to start; minimum score of 80%, with only two attempts allowed; must be updated every 3 years.
Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; must be completed prior to start; minimum score of 80%, with only two attempts allowed; must be updated every 3 years.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details:
The assignment is on 6S.
The patient population includes pulmonary and medical overflow patients.

5 days maximum time off
