Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2820 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Heparin drip experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market, no matter which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply. Holiday requests are limited to 1 day off between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.

Unit Details: The unit cares for general medical patients. Patient ratios are 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. No call. Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Floating Requirements: The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
